Attempting to make a nice dinner for the guy I’m dating tonight but we’ll see, and taking PTO on Monday to go up to the Mt Princeton hot springs with him on Sunday/Monday. It’ll be my first time seeing a true snowfall in the mountains so I’m hyped. Have a great (and warm) weekend everyone!
Finally…the Packers get some (sad) recognition. We can’t make fun of the Vikings and their kicker anymore when we have Crosby missing field goals left and right.
Definitely should have went after the woman who hit you…I grew up with a girl who got hit on her bike when she was 8. The woman paid for a brand new car when she was 16 and had a full ride to a private university without having to apply for academic scholarships or grants all due to the settlement.
My ex and I lived together right near the Church of Scientology mission center in Milwaukee and we were always running into their “missionaries.” I don’t like to knock on people’s religions but every encounter was creepy and it was a bit unsettling.
My dad used to be the defensive coordinator for my HS football team and he/the school district had two court settlements over his 20-some year coaching career because he was “too rough” on the players (he made them run laps if they didn’t listen or were disrespectful, basically, and thankfully the school district paid for all the fees and settlement costs associated with it). Parents need to get their noses out of issues unless a kid is actually harmed.
I hope everyone who gets assigned the federal lawsuit from the mother who probably gave her son participation trophies his whole life, laughs in her face and it doesn’t even reach a courtroom. Come on, parents. Do better.
I vote Kopp’s for custard – they have more options imo. Not going to lie, I got real emotional last night because I was craving it so bad and I’m a mere 1000 miles away from them. Definitely go and chill at the Milwaukee Public Market in the Third Ward on Sunday morning if you can – lots of vendors, great food, and the people watching is pretty good. If you want to go out….Water Street or Brady Street are good (depending on age). Also, take a walk along the riverside in the Third Ward or hit up the lake walk along Lake Michigan. Perfect time of year for that. Forever missing my MKE Home…have a blast!
First weekend in a month that I’m not working a 10hr Saturday so I’m hitting up Oktoberfest in my city tonight and then not a damn thing for the rest of the weekend and I.am.thrilled. about that.
Agreed – I think the guy I’m with now felt the same, and we broke up because of it but got back together, but there’s still a part of me that think’s he just want’s to “do” him. But we had the talk about taking it one day at a time and all I can say is that I think we’re in a good spot and that’s an “adult” relationship in my eyes. See where it goes, she seems easy going and like she wants to try and be communicative with you. Good luck!
Oktoberfest in Munich was my favorite experience in all of Germany when I went a few years back. Wanted to go again this year but work kind of got in the way…PGP I guess.
I bought rounds for my table at a formal a few years back…dropped about $100 doing so, and three of the girls complained about what I bought for them.Be happy, it’s free (expensive) alcohol.
There’s selling pictures of your feet to those who have the fetish, and then there’s selling panties to people who have THAT fetish. I knew a lot of girls in college who did both and they paid off their tuition by doing so. I could never, but hats off to girls that do I guess.
