How were you able to find a job before moving? It seems like most places won’t take me seriously even when I say I have plenty of family and friends in the new location. Would you also have considered moving and then finding a job?
Gotta disagree with you here, it’s something you have to do while you’re young if you choose to do so. Can’t live with the regret of not shooting your shot
I really don’t understand why employers say workers are no longer loyal. I’m friendly with my boss, but I also know she wouldn’t hesitate to throw me out on the street if she had a business reason to do so. Likewise, she should also understand that if my circumstances change, I’m not thinking twice before leaving my job
Aren’t they required to feed you on international flights?
Wouldn’t George need to have the particular set of skills?
No matter what your “friendly” with your boss, I can’t say you can ever really be friends until after your professional relationship is done
Is this really possible? I’m friendly with my boss, but there’s always gonna be some distance
Fuck, why??
Where’d you move from?
Where’d you end up staying when you did so? And did you have any interviews lined up when you first moved?
Then do you put the city for your current job where you’re looking to move?
I’ve tried this too, I say I’ll be staying with my cousin while I look for a permanent place to stay
What field are you in, and I’m assuming you forfeited relocation and travel expenses for interviews?
I can’t imagine George has a particular set of skills

I’d rather he propose all wrong

I’m working on it too, but giving myself a year instead of 6 months.
That seems like a west coast thing haha. I’ve heard the same criticisms about Portland and California
I’m surprised you say that, I felt like everyone was so much nicer compared to the northeast.
Better yet, left at the altar

I live near New York, it’s nice for a vacation but living here sucks. How about San Diego, you really get the best of living in California.
