That’s true, supposedly when the wall was built by Bran the Builder 8000 years prior it had magical properties. It’s said that only blowing the Horn of Joramun can bring the wall down and thus let the Others through.
He’s not necessarily with the Faith Militant. The theory revolves around this part in the book when Brienne and Poon Slayer Pod are traveling together and end up on the Quiet Isle with all these septons/septas. There’s a massive guy there digging graves and it may or may not be the Hound. Supposedly they found him dying and helped him heal so now he’s kind of mellow and helping them on the island. In theory, the High Sparrow guy could call on him to be the Faith’s champion in the trial by combat and once he finds out it’s his brother he’d fighting he says yes because he fucking hates his brother.
Also, I truly believe Rickon being brought back is an inside job. The Umber that brought him to Winterfell is Smalljon Umber, whose Dad was at the Red Wedding but left to take a piss and is presumably captive. I think it’s secretly a ploy to get a Stark back in Winterfell from the inside as a part of the Grand Northern Conspiracy. He’ll work with the Umbers and Manderlys from the inside to fight secretly I think. In the bigger scheme of things, he will be fighting from the inside while Sansa unites the North from the outside to fight and Jon eventually bands up with the Wildlings with the army and fight Boltons when they come to attack Castle Black (which we see in the season preview). Boom, Starks (Jon, Sansa, and Rickon) take back Winterfell and the North.
I thought the waif girl asking about Arya’s kill list was a nice setup to bring Sandor Clegane (The Hound) back into the fold. Could be important because Cersei is going to be given a trial and she’s definitely going with trial by combat based on that one scene in the basement this week. She will obviously choose the undead Gregor Clegane to be her champion. The longstanding theory is that will be her champion and the faith will choose their champion and it will be Sandor Clegane (theory is called Cleganebowl). In Cersei’s prophecy, it says she will be killed by the “Valenqor” which means little brother. She has always taken that to mean Tyrion but it could mean Sandor. If he defeats his older bro, Gregor, in Cersei’s trial by combat that means Cersei dies.

Always put the phone on your nuts if you might pass out. Impossible to not wake up when it vibrates.
That head was tiny, direwolves are gigantic. Has to be a fake, no way that’s really Shaggydog.
100% true, they are famously loyal. Specifically to the Starks, so I’m thinking Umber is there to plot and wreak havoc on the Boltons from the inside.

Yes, it is true Cersei is older than Jaime but it seems like they’re back on the same team so it seems unlikely he will kill her.

I did and I enjoyed the article. I was just commenting that you always seem to write the disinterested article for the major sporting events.
You seem to be disinterested in a lot of stuff.
