Displaced Chicagoan now residing in Beer City, USA. Can be found on the weekends shooting a round of golf, sipping craft beer, or getting way too worked up over Chicago sports teams.
One of my personal rules when using Uber is that if my driver wants to talk politics or current events it’s best to shut the hell up and age with whatever he or she says.
Yep, this is precisely why I go over the fence. I tried going through the gate once and got snagged on the zipper (granted I was fairly drunk at the time). Never again.
I’d like to throw Colin Kaepernick on the list. Played well but got absolutely lit up at the 1 yard line by the Miami defense which ultimately cost the 1-10 niners the game.
Saw it this weekend and I would give it a 6/10. It was ok but the characters just weren’t as likable as the Harry Potter movies. The way it ended also seemed perfectly fine without needing any sequels. If any do get made I will definitely not see them.
Fully agree with focusing on your strengths. Reminds me of something I heard at a conference once which is that if you try to improve your weaknesses you’ll only be average at best in those areas (so it’s not worth your time). However, if you focus on your strengths you’ll be able to perfect those abilities and be the best among your peers in those areas.
The fiancee and I are currently in the process of planning our wedding. Her parents are divorced and it will be the first time that her two sides of the family will be together at the same event in years. Assigned seats are an absolute necessity. Can’t have any murders on our wedding night.
I’m also genuinely curious about how an engagement works under these circumstances. Do you decide up front who’s going to be the one that proposes? If not, do you have to just hope that she’s not planning to propose to you as well?

Katrina Batina…fee fie fo feena.
Having no Christmas event whatsoever due to budget. PGP.
Was expecting her to lay down an absolute ass-chewing on the sales person. Was very disappointed.
Can’t tell if you have a urinal in your home or if you just go no hands when you’re standing over the toilet. Either way, PGPM.

Because they suck.
If I got fired from AT&T in this fashion I would definitely pull up my own account and give myself a $1,000 “great customer” credit.

Where’s the fun in that?
Meijer all the way.

Just say you got food poisoning the night before. End of story.
God, I don’t even know what the fuck I would do with myself if I retired that early.
*Stay at home mom… they have a dog, remember?

Fully agree. I was just about to say that I doubt this would be his attitude if a dime sat next to him and wanted to make conversation.
Agreed. Personality wise I think that he’s actually similar to Nick.
