I feel your pain on every single one of these. Poker night on Wednesday night always starts the taquito and BLL train early for the weekend. Why do people have to take offense when you don’t want to go out and turn your monies into lbs?
I went the accounting route. Everybody thinks that accounting is so hard. Really, it’s just like anything else. Put in the time with weekly homework and actually read the book and understand what you’re doing and it’s manageable. I think it gets a bad rap because its a weed out class in most business schools to keep the Marketing/Management graduates down to 90% of the graduating class instead of the full hundo.
It’s okay to be a normal person with a 9-5 401k and bennies who occasionally playing some xbox or playstation. However, the people you are talking about definitely need a reality check. The people who get a new game at midnight and beat it before the sun rises and spend all day long going for achievements and that kind of stuff.
I try to identify with Republicans because small govt, lower taxes … all the normal things. But they’re so set on oppressing homosexuals and minorities and not budging social issues like abortion. They have to say “its a sin” and “its immoral” and “wrong” as if they are holier than thou. Who cares! Stay out of my checkbook and stay out of my home.
I had a teacher in high school that required you to be at every after school function 15 minutes early. It was a challenge because even before you could drive, you had to be somewhere 15 minutes early. Good luck convincing your parents (who actually were busy) that some high school teacher cared so much. It seemed harsh at the time, but looking back it was a great lesson to learn.
She always said,
“If you’re early, you’re on time.
If you’re on time, you’re late.
If you’re late, you’re in trouble.”
I’m gonna have to disagree with you. Playing with somebody else is always guaranteed to suck. You wanna go out with your boy and shit talk each other and when this guy is around, you can’t because you feel like a jerk. Maybe I actually just am a jerk, but still. I paid xx to play somewhere, I don’t wanna play with some chochie.
I think that if you are already in good shape, eating poorly after a workout won’t hurt you that much – you essentially just burn everything off. That in no way equates to you can eat poorly after a workout and its the same as protein/recovery drinks.
Brian’s advice is like the older guy at work who is still in the same position you are, but somehow much wiser. Like he missed the boat to bigger and better things.
Bacon’s advice is like someone you feel equal with. Some maybe a little further along than you are, but not necessarily headed to much bigger and better things.
To go with chips, salsa, taquitos! During the winter its Sam Adams winter

The pyramid scheme is spot on.
“Hey man. I have an exciting business opportunity that you can get in on at the ground floor.”
Not just that people wanted more beer?
I use GoRS and feel nervous doing that.
