As someone who pays 50% of their monthly income to student loans (100% on-time, may I add) and therefore can’t help the economy by purchasing as much from businesses, I think SOME financial relief to those suffering is fair as it reduces some of the financial burden while allowing those people to spend the money on other things to boost the local economy.
