I can see your point as myself being someone who doesn’t like receiving money or gifts or anything, but put yourself in his shoes. Sometimes parents save up money over time for that special day and I can imagine your dad would be very proud to put forth that money for his daughter’s wedding. I don’t have any kids nor will I anytime soon but if I worked hard and saved a little each month or whatever (unbeknownst to you) for my daughter’s wedding (never having a daughter) and then you said no I’m not letting you pay for anything, I’d prolly be a little sad.
I’m probably way off on this and it’s not a popular opinion but it seems that a lot of millenials lack drive or motivation to exceed in the workplace. Seems like most just do what they have to do to move to a different company, or simply make it to the weekend. I haven’t met too many extremely driven and hardworking millenials that are actually laser focused on achieving success. It’s more about slugging through the week to make it to the weekend to spend money on things you can’t afford to impress people you don’t know. I’m sure there are lots of motivated folks out there but it appears that the “cool” thing to do is to lack motivation and appear better off than you are. Just my 2 cents.
Wish I had something fun or extraordinary to speak on behalf of but I’ve got nothing this weekend. Starting with pizza and beer tonight by myself in my apartment. It could be worse though.
Yeah I’m not really sure what Duda is trying to do by wearing this stuff. All I can guess is he’s playing all of us and just is trying to be funny. But sometimes I think he’s serious and I wonder…..
It did go deeper. Instead of women only looking for guys 6′ or taller, tap into the 5’10-5’11 market. Or don’t, because those 2″ are usually the difference between eternal happiness and absolute misery (get your head out of the gutter.)
The real power move here is to use the backpack Camelbak like we used to carry while hiking. Complete with a hose to show your peasant coworkers how hydrated you are at all times.
I have an Rtic I got for $12 and it works great. Sure, YETI claims they keep stuff cold for like 24 hours but who’s drinking the same drink 24 hours later? As long as it stays cold for like 4 hours max it’s fine by me.
Which is probably true. It’s just that nowadays it’s a lot easier to just repeat untrue 1-liners such as “God hates gays” instead of actually doing research and realizing the church (at least the Catholic church) has evolved quite a bit even in the last 10 years and the current Pope is pretty left-of-center actually.
Yeah I don’t get the whole upbeat thing. Some Catholic churches are starting to offer it in a separate mass but those non-denominational rock concerts with a “pastor” wearing a black polo, spiked hair and buckle jeans really don’t seem genuine. But then again as long as people are sticking to their faith I guess I don’t care. Just not my cup of tea.
Go Blue!

I mean I get drinking is super super cool and stuff but it’s ok to do other things than drink (and you can still be super super cool.)
That’s one of the most annoying things ever. When you can clearly tell someone isn’t listening to you but only waiting for their turn to talk.
So cool dude.
I’m sort of surprised you’re not trying to bring the digital camera back.
He’s a fraud.

Johnny… er Jeffrey Dahmer.
Damn I haven’t even been to a wedding in like 5 years. Not sure if that says more about me or my friends…..

Better change your username before you get arrested.

Alllright. Back to you, Stan.
Cool story bro.
