Agreed. Initially we planned a Vegas BP and after some honesty from some folks who couldn’t afford the trip we did a lake house in Austin instead. Trip went from 4 to 10 able to go and was a blast.
Being in sales my boss is pretty good about the stressed/anxiety call in. Said he’d rather us take a day or two to refocus rather than go into a full blown slump.
I couldn’t think of any reason why a Monday working for Grandex would suck until I thought of seeing Dorn’s ugly mug bright and early with a shit eating grin on his face because he “crushed” his morning workout.
I know this column has some satire, but as someone considering making the leap from their first gig out of college do any of y’all have any advice for me on how to go about the interviews? Interviewing for me in college was “Just give me a job” and now I’m trying to be more selective.
Took this past Monday off and phone started blowing up at 6:45 AM all the way till 5. Currently fighting management on them charging for that day off when I was basically working on the drive home from a long weekend.
Check out the winery at a Salt Lick and then grub on some BBQ. If things get boring hit up some shopping at the outlets and get rid of your God awful style of clothes.
To all you men out there going through this or committing to buzzing it off, you’ve got my respect. My one greatest fear in life is going bald and I thank the good Lord that I’ve got thick hair genes on both sides of the family. I tip my hat to you gentlemen.
Appreciate you posting this so quick. Didn’t even know about the feature on LinkedIn to hide when you edit your page. Currently cleaning mine up now.
Currently considering leaving my job, which was my first out of college. Would be very interested in a piece on what y’all look for.
If you’re ever consulting out in West TX look me up. I’ll buy ya beer.
What was the Texas State Troopers doing push-ups video about?

Corporate dress code allowing creeper mustaches but not allowing beards. #PGP
Had a vision of Sperry getting loose from his leash and running off to live the rest of his days happily chasing birds in the orchards. #FreeSperry
Really looking forward to getting that third week of vacation 3 years from now.

Went to high school at Permian. Can confirm fans are batshit crazy. Also, did you go to UTPB?
Big Charlie Robison and Boland fan. Loving County and Somewhere Down in Texas are some of my go to’s when I’m in a rut.

Thank you! This helped calm my nerves a lot!

Right there with ya bud
Well it was a lot nicer before Santa Anna decided to level the fucking place with me inside it!

Sounded more like a shart versus full on ruining your britches. That being said, I always appreciate shitty stories like these.
