I think the discussion here is that women aren’t JUST made to feel less because of their looks, personality, or ability to get a date. We are made to feel less for the simple fact that we are women. And even when we are considered good looking, cool, and can get dates, we’re still considered less because we are women.
Female voices have been oppressed for so long (and, in many places of the world, still are), that if we have the ability to raise ours, we have the right (and sometimes the duty) to do so. We can be confident and a protester without writing “huge dumbass articles”, but I find it’s really important in this day and age to say what we have to say, if simply because so many women fought for us to have this specific right. I don’t think Quinn was trying to validate her feelings, just pointing out why it’s so important to be an active woman nowadays. Let us do our thing, bro. You don’t have to read it.
I’m about to get on a plane to go home after Mardi Gras. I also have a huge biochemistry exam tomorrow (fuck grad school). Gonna try cold brew for the first time, as I’ve heard it is almost like coke. YOU GUYS CLOSE DEALS AS I ACE THIS EXAM.
I would rather die than try to hide my google search from my girl friends just because I don’t know what “masago” is. I can’t believe girls would actually do this.
Reservation at 9:30 p.m. at the only bar that it’s popping on Tuesdays with my single friends. Shots of tequila are not out of the realm of possibility.
Got blackout drunk the past two weekends (and Monday) and made some really questionable decisions. After reading this, though, I’m seeing that a REAL questionable decision would have been being sober.
Didn’t sleep AT ALL last night, have had 6 cups of coffee today, the guy I was about blew me off. I’m having two slices of pizza, a cookie, and maybe a few tears.

Surprised Will hasn’t yet commented on the Paris reference.

Your girl is going to chill tonight so she can completely DESTROY New Orleans from tomorrow until Tuesday on this beautiful Mardi Gras weekend.
I WORK FROM 9AM-10PM TODAY BUT IT’S OKAY BECAUSE IT’S THURSDAY TOMORROW IS FRIDAY AND TOMORROW WE PLAY. LOTS OF COFFEE TODAY CAN’T WAIT.

Coffee and trying to understand what biochemistry is. It’s exquisite.
Froyo. I’m on a “liquids only” diet before Mardi Gras.

What kind of squad member bails on a friend’s birthday for a date? That just made me so fucking mad.

Wine and cheese because fuck today.
Now that the tears have dried, I can appreciate this.
Appreciated.
