My only objection to that is the added length and something potentially hanging down. That might not be a concern for the regular person who doesn’t own a low or lowered cars.

Speed bleeders though are a god send. Makes bleeding brakes on my motorcycle so quick and easy.

Or, you could spend 5 minutes on YouTube learning how to work on your exact car and change your oil in 30 minutes while waiting on no one.

If anyone is poor/low on money, you have no excuse to not work on your car. The saving are incredible, the personal satisfaction you get, and the tools you need to do the work will last you a lifetime. Plus, when something breaks, you’re not always stranded and at the while of some random small town me hanic looking to take advantage of you.

Not having space is no excuse. I do all my work in a parking garage and have all the tools anyone would need in a small storage locker. Goddamn millennials these days….

Ok, I’ll come in with an over reaction.

How does someone not have hobbies? Counting drinking as a hobby just sounds sad and pathetic. If every night is drinking and watching Netflix mindlessly, I feel bad for you. What’s the point of life if you’re just working and consuming mindless entertainment?

I have too many hobbies. Not enough time or money to do any of them the way I’d prefer. Sure, I come home after work and veg out and watch YouTube for hours, but it’s always directly related to the hobby I don’t have the energy or money to work instead. I’ve got a motorcycle I take out on weekends and sometimes to the racetrack. I’ve got a scooter that’s never ran, but one day I’ll fix that up for the GF to ride. I’ve got a gun I’m building almost from scratch (80% 1911 for those in the know), other guns that I definitely don’t shoot enough. I’ve got a car that needs minor maintenance most of the time (used AMG), I’ve gotten into high end audio, so piecing together all the components for a nice install in my car, electronic projects I want to start, but need to learn to code first, some upholstery work I want to do on my cheap ass couch and practice before doing car stuff.

Hell, going out and drinking gets in the way of most of those things.

“Should I continue my current routine of doing weights before work so I don’t get too sweaty and cardio in the evening? I just don’t know.”

If you’re not breaking a sweat while lifting weights, you’re not really lifting weights…

I left Illinois for California and after I moved, at least 8 or 9 of my friends from Chicago and the surrounding suburbs have moved to the Denver area. I finally visited this year, and my god, the hype is real.

I live in a coastal town in California and I was still blown away by how amazing Denver is. The only thing it’s missing is more bodies of water. I hate snow more than most and even the way winter goes there seems tolerable. Roads are cleared quick/melt. Lots of sunshine. Easily the second or third place I’d live.

If you take the scenic route from SF down, you can stop at Pacific Grove Public Links. Closest you’ll get to playing Pebble Beach as you’re only a couple miles north and the back 9 are right on the ocean.

If you want to get a little fancier, Bayonet and Black Horse are in the immediate area too and offer insane views and is a PGA course.
