Fantastic take. It should be common knowledge to never order anything complicated (i.e. mojitos) when the bar is jam packed. I’m all for a unique twist on a Manhattan (if anyone has a recipe throw it my way) but simplicity is always key.
Dear 23 year old confused as hell, the chances of you two completely changing your ideologies (religion or politics) are slim to none. The only way one of you will change is if you reevaluate what you believe and realize that you’ve been falsely identifying yourself (more so related to the political spectrum).
I’m a huge proponent of having friends with different ideologies from you in order to be more well-rounded so why not just be friends with her? Not sure how easy that will be considering the past, but dating truly isn’t a good idea.
Compression socks + slippers on my flight to Europe. No swelling and I didn’t feel disgusting walking around the plane. Can’t say much about how fashionable I looked.
Second! I ran my first one four years ago and have been in and out of running up until a year ago. Girl I know I live in Tampa and I cringe stepping into the fresh humidity even at 6 AM.
