Most of my internet browsing is done during work hours, so I don’t intake much audio–just articles, sports, etc. But I’ve seen such a influx of podcasts coming from sites I follow (PGP, old Grantland, Barstool, etc.)
I tried to listen to one of the recent ones the other day, but I don’t follow the Bachelor so it didn’t really hit home.
I’m genuinely just wondering what the sales pitch would be for listening to these? I like PGP–but it seems like a bit more of a commitment. Or would you recommend a specific podcast or two of these to initially check out?
Just please don’t like random memes/Facebook-esque stuff that pops up on LinkedIn. I’m always open to having a recruiter connect–but LinkedIn looks more like Facebook now than ever. Need to purge half my contacts….
I see no harm in letting her visit Austin. No one really knows the situation you were in. My guess is she started reading these, got jealous–and started reaching back out.
You’re moving to a new city, no need to try to re-start a once failed, now potential long distance relationship. But also no reason to completely cut someone off. Enjoy your new city, and all that comes with it–and just change your no visitors attitude–I bet it’s much easier when everyone needs to take a plane to visit you.
I’m not well versed with the new Austin limitations, but what’s to stop a company from just creating a similar app–but following the guidelines now set in place? While the margins may not be as good, and it’s not global–I’d think that money could be made.
Ehh, she’s obviously from Texas, most of her friends moved there post college–if things don’t work out, it’s not like she’s in some random flyover state.
She’s obviously keeping tabs on you, and reading these columns. Let’s see, your first post was 7 months ago, “The Chase” series is ongoing. Wasn’t interested until she realized you had moved on. Just a classic case of girl-brain going on here.
I’ve lived in Buckhead, Brookhaven, next to Emory, Poncey Highlands, and just bought a condo in Midtown. It’s not that tough, i’ve never paid more than $650/month for rent.
You can find affordable stuff in Buckhead, but you can also end up paying $2K for a “luxury” condo on Peachtree if you want. You just have to know where to look/rent.
I cannot stop staring at her knee’s during the entire stand-up. They like an old man’s face was once etched onto an old cliff-face or mountain of sorts.
Equestrian girls are nuts. Many schools have massive programs to help offset football scholarships. My school had 65+ on scholarship for the equestrian team, I ended up being on the same bus-route as many of them one semester. Crazy hot, but also just crazy in general. Heard some of the most vulgar conversations that semester just by being around them.

Fan on, every night. No questions.
Unrelated, are you familiar with “Fan Death?”

They must know–or they’re pretty lazy.

Crunchwrap Supreme you cannot go wrong. Also, the crunchwrap breakfast is very good.
Asking for a friend–if you’re 5’11 do you broadcast it?
That’s taller than 99% of females on the dating apps I see, but still don’t feel like it’s tall enough to want to broadcast on the profile.
Always go off-registry.

Creeping on someone’s favorites/likes is one of the most underrated form of social media stalking currently available.

Would love to read a review of “That Awkward Moment” by the team, or maybe a pod-cast discussion of it.
Just an all time classic.
Totally agree. I still get the scaries after wearing a condom if I don’t 100% know the girl is on BC.

Cost of living though.
If you make north of $70K you can live like a King in Atlanta.

Fight or flight syndrome. Cam chose flight on the biggest stage–prolly didn’t want to scuff his gold MVP cleats.
Love these, but come-on, “Survivor” was–and still is a classic.
