Not at all, hurting your score in the long run like that is an urban legend. Having cards, but not using them doesn’t impact your score. Actually, especially if they’re older, closing some will hurt your score because the third largest credit score component is length of credit history. If I were to close my card that I opened in 2011 but haven’t used for years, my credit score would take a shit.
Most stores around me are chipped, but I have no preference.
I don’t use them. I did at one point, but I’ve since moved on to other cards (I usually keep 2-3 on rotation depending on what I’m buying and sometimes one more if I’m trying to meet a minimum spend offer). But I keep them open because of the credit lines they have on them in order to keep the debt to credit ratio low.
You must have missed the last part of my comment: “which will help PGP expand its readerbase.” Like Ms. Fizzle said, a lot of their content is gender neutral so it wouldn’t necessarily matter whether those pieces were written by men or women.
Wait, but why? Is it because you genuinely feel that women can provide a perspective and writing style that men can’t, which will help PGP expand its readerbase? Or is it because it’s 2018 and everything needs to be 50% men and 50% women?
Watching Overlord tonight because Nazi zombies. Then tomorrow night is a big family birthday party, which means a 6 hour banquet at a Russian restaurant. Shots of vodka will be taken, food with way too much mayo will be eaten and I will be very hung over on Sunday.
Eric isn’t savvy enough to keep the charade up. He’s going to have a drunken dance floor makeout with Carly, realize what he’s done, then call Alyssa crying and apologizing.
Then, I’m sorry to say, you might be screwed both with HR and a lawsuit. As others have noted, without any crush proof, the lawsuit would turn into a he said she said kind of thing. Your other bet would be to get other company workers to testify. I would still consult with a lawyer though, you can usually get a free consultation for an issue before you decide whether it’s worth your time and money.
One other avenue that might be worth exploring is going to the local press. If the company is big enough in your community, they might pay you to shut the fuck up and can the negative publicity.
Oh so just because she’s a girl she has no agency? She’s responsible for her actions. She didn’t choose to be hit on, but she could have easily shut him down. No one’s being possessive here, but certain actions imply certain things. If she didn’t want to stay at Duda’s for the weekend, she could’ve gotten dressed at home and met him at the bar.
Nightmare boss girl: do you have any paper evidence of your boss being sexist and purposefully singling you out? Emails, etc.? If so and if your company is big enough to have one, contact HR to open investigation and use that as proof. Any worthwhile HR department would have a field day with this scenario. Don’t quit before you exhaust all your options.
He’s not her boyfriend, but she brought a duffel bag for spending two nights at his place. So either she was giving off vibes that she’s into him and him only, thus making his reaction perfectly reasonable, or she’s homeless and needed a place to stay over the weekend.
I never understood option 2. Like if someone is hitting on my girl and she doesn’t feel comfortable enough tell him to fuck off, I can definitely step in. But if someone is hitting on her and she’s reciprocating? Well then my problem is with my girl, not the guy hitting on her. You did the right thing, Duda.
No one talked about it. It was a blurb on news channels for a few days and that’s it. It and its ramifications was pretty much completely absent from Twitter.

Depends what your use would be. If you spend a good amount on groceries each month, would recommend the aforementioned American Express card.

Eric is going to cheat on Alyssa with Carly, isn’t he?
Mazal tov.
Any concrete proof*

Should be just enough to buy a round of drinks.
Don’t forget to hold back a quarter (or whatever your marginal tax rate is) of that $54.90 gain for your taxes!

We need a federal law to make the Monday after the Super Bowl a national holiday. Call it “Recovery Day.”
