Congrats on the 22 yesses! I agree that your crew thins out as you get older, but IMO, it’s for quality over quantity. As you get older, you tend to have more disposable income and the 5-6 quality friends can afford a more elaborate party. Been to a couple in the last year, from AZ to Miami and from AZ to Chicago. Way better time than I had in my early 20’s in Las Vegas with 20 or more attendees (most of which were being tightwads or just too broke to join all the festivities).
I live the delete all lifestyle. However, I see a lot of comments saying that they save their messages just in case of some legal false accusation of sorts. I’ve always been under the impression that if it came down to that, wouldn’t the court be able to subpoena records from your cell company?
You’re allowed to adjust your W4 at any time during the year. Given that most people get a refund, why not adjust it halfway through the year once you have paid your share instead of giving Uncle Sam that free loan he likes? If you’re scared to go full “exempt”, try bumping up the number of exemptions first. Enjoy your extra cash.
I commend that you went “old school” in actually approaching a girl in person, I didn’t think guys did that anymore. This coming from a guy married beyond the Tinder/Bumble times.
I’m on the same boat. Look forward to them going out with Mom to get their “girly time” and Dad hits the bar or just enjoy some peace and quiet time at home. Especially handy during football season. Godspeed my friend.

I started working when I was a HS Jr. at Mickey D’s, by the end of Sr. year, I was Asst. Mgr of the joint. At the end of the Summer after HS grad, had big decision to make, turn down a promotion to manage my own store, whoop-dee-doo! or head off to college. I think I made the right one? Maybe?
