Can confirm and recommend this as an AT&T user. $10 per day, keep your regular plan. Only pay if you use it, I had 2 days during my vacation where we were out at sea and phone stayed locked up in room safe, no charges. You’ll get a text msg from carrier as soon as it detects your out of the US and just text “YES” to accept the plan. Done.
To the person looking to skip town… Phoenix area, so long as you stay on the east side and/or any of its fine east side ‘burbs (Chandler, Tempe, Gilbert and Scottsdale) is where you want to be.
In regards to the Austin visitor, I wanted to suggest and maybe seek confirmation that Salt Lick BBQ (it’s somewhere outside of town) is pretty dang bomb!!? Hopefully not out of line with that, but I never got to visit Franklin’s as Dillon suggests, which I would guess is far superior. How does Salt Lick rate with the locals?
I’ll be checking out the shenanigans that is the “greenest show on grass”, PGA tour WM Open here in Scottsdale. It’s an annual thing for a group of friends here and it never disappoints. First beer should hit my belly at around 9am.
I have not done this myself, but when I went through my process of regular Global Entry, in the instructions, it appeared to me there’s an option for you, they call it Enrollment upon Arrival. It seems that you can apply online, go on your trip that has a layover at one of the airports that offer this option, and you take care of the enrollment interview at that time. Check it out.
Wait… do we know what ring he used? Is it the heirloom that his parents gave him? I recall Girl went ring shopping, but did he somehow went and buy it? Must know and I can’t recall, argh!!
“You feel that? It’s the collective breath of fresh air you can take in now that wedding season has finally died down and you can have a few weekends to yourself.” We don’t all live north Will, wedding season is kicking off here in AZ. But the commandments are on point!
Way too real. If you’re trying to take it easy you go dry or it’s not happening. You may also want to put your phone in airplane mode. But that’s only if you’re serious.
Agree with Let It Ride, great game if you like poker, and to Dillon’s point, you can change your bet, this game is a true definition of it. You start by placing 3 chips (typically $5 min in Vegas) and if your hand isn’t very good, you can pull back all but one. If your hand is good, you can stay in fully with the $15.
Casino guy: I agree with Dillon. However, the only time I break my own rule of staying away from that thing is if I’m up, got a couple black chips in my pocket and some oddball $25 worth of chips, I’ll throw those down real quick, because it is a bit of rush. Anyway, craps is where it’s at. You can play the way the game is meant and win big (or lose quick), or you can lay low. Can tell you numerous times when I have joined my boys at a craps game knowing very well that’s “my last $100”. I just play the pass line with the minimum and 6x out of 10, I leave with my $100 or better, but one thing I leave with is a nice buzz after enjoying a couple hours of free booze, for that my friend, craps all the way!!
Yeah, between this article and the soccer Mom boyfriend article…. what’s with the PGP lady bloggers dating these pansies?
I’m with you. Any place where they microwave or food is traaaaaash.
but a Labradoodle?? Have some dignity. I picture that’s what kind of dog Girl has (Sperry)
Same here, good shit.
*Mic drops.*
Me too!
Anyone else read Paris in Girl’s voice, Pair-eeh?! Dammit!

I won’t ever frown on any Scotch, but Grangestone, discover it, you won’t be disappointed. Neat (maybe one small ice cube) or GTFO.

“irregardless” ? Seriously, use regardless.
It depends, was she a playmate during the non-nude break that the magazine took about a year ago?
