Took Friday AND Monday off and made the return trip Monday morning. Monday was rainy so I watched the Cubs, binged Netflix, and got little things done around the apartment. I highly recommend it.
Been watching the show for about 10 years and I’m pulling the plug. Garret sucked and now with the Colton pick, I’m just done wasting my time.
However, I will still read Crick’s summaries (if he still writes them) to validate my choice to quit.
My cousin and I were best friends in high school and since college we lived in different cities and reconnected when we could.
I moved to the same city as here a year ago and expected to reunite with my bestie but came to realize we were different as adults and wouldn’t be as close. Super crushing, but apparently common.
Update: I upped my game but didn’t make a move. I think it’s clear we’re both interested in each other, so I’m not stressing it. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, right?… or out of sight, out of mind. Only time will tell.
I’m literally in the same position now, except I’m the girl and the guy I like is going to France tomorrow. Conflicted as whether to shoot my shot tonight. Sounds like I should.
What kind of engineer are you? I’m an electrical and I’ll never go back to school. I took the FE, which felt like hell and I’m not even sure I want to touch the PE exam. So I get it. I can make a decent living without it.
