Will, you can deduct medical expenses that are over 7.5% of your AGI til 2019 when it goes back up to 10%. It can be a high threshold to hit if youre a recent grad. Basically if your AGI is $30,000 you have to have $2,250 in (qualifying) expenses in order to deduct them. Also, you can only deduct if you itemize and don’t take the standard deduction.
