I always enjoyed the “how to adult” articles. A news-like column that broke down recent events apolitically wouldn’t be a bad idea, for me example, how the tax reform bill will effect most people from this age bracket. I know that’s not as sexy as a dating column but it’s important.
Conspiracy theory time. Every now and then JD publishes a rather dark article from seemingly out of nowhere. Why do we think he does this? Is he running out of drugs and this is real persona? Does he take new drugs that let some primal inner demon? Or is he just fucking with us?
I’m not going to link it here because that wouldn’t be cool to PGP and they treated me well. The ebook that is already published is on waterfowl hunting, not exactly a big sect of the PGP readership. The short story collection, which will be the next to drop under that pen name, will be about some of my outdoors adventures, including a run in (think feet, not yards) I had with a injured black bear this last fall in Montana. I’m hoping to get it published in February. The novel won’t be ready for at least a year. The novella will be under a different pen name because it’s an entirely different genre (kind of a rom-com) and will come out in January I think. I’m not certain how I’m going to promote it yet. Agreed. For the most part. I actually do know a guy that was in fact raped while he was drunk by a woman that was being a ‘creep’ for several weeks/months prior (I don’t know every detail). His defense when he came to enough sense understand what was happening was just to push her off of him but it did happen.
