Wife is having a girls night with a friend and I got the kiddos. Dinner is gonna be….interesting. Pretty sure it will involve some fresh caught yellow perch though.
But the damage was done wasn’t it? You pulled it because of backlash. If you knew it was a mistake you wouldn’t have even written it. I’ll retract “best” in favor for “my favorite”.
It’s your playground. You get to decide what game is played in the sandbox. But here is what’s bothering me. I’m told that “sup” isn’t ok and that our women commenters/writers deserve better by a writer that published an offensive as shit anti-breastfeeding in public column that apparently drove off the best female columnist all of Grandex ever had.
I’m not defending this comment section Will. But unoriginal? Boo boo. Not everyone is Shakespeare. It’s a comment section, not the Atlantic’s letters to the editor. Off-putting? So what? It’s a matter of perspective. I lost interest in TGDAG because I was “off-put” by it. I didn’t tell you to stop writing. In fact, I insist that you continue. Never stop if that’s your choice. I know this isn’t a first amendment issue but in its spirit, the amendment only matter when it supports speech that we don’t care for. No one has a right not to be offended.
Wait, I thought “sups” were generally agreed to be ok? In fact, A LOT of the female readers have had fun with that too. I mean, a simple “sup” has to be about the most harmless of internet flirting I’ve ever seen. If you truly think “sup” is just so glaringly offensive that we need to address it, get in touch with me. I have training in biotechnology and I’ll happily grow you a spine. Stop looking to be offended folks.
Interesting person. Kind of similar to my discussions with folks even though I believe in a higher power. I encourage people to find spirituality rather than religion, a sense of purpose, being, and peace. I have a friend that is a devout atheist (and sometimes annoyingly condescending and outspoken about it.) I told he goes to church every week when he goes fishing. It’s his place of peace, his time with his family and where he works out his life problems. He had no choice but to smile and grudgingly agree.
My 4 year old just told me he doesn’t want to go fishing tomorrow so fuck me I guess.
I’ve always wanted to do a real crawdad boil. When and where should I go?
Did I miss the story about how you broke your leg? If so, can I get a condensed version?
That gives me indigestion just thinking about it. Fuck I miss my twenties.

Sorry for giving you a hard time Will.
Grill pizzas I think?
I closed last night if you know what I mean. And stayed up way too late doing it. So this morning Bold, extra caffeine.
Feel free to point out to me anywhere on this thread where I condone anything other than “sup”.
You’ll be hearing from my attorney.

I’m standing by my original premise. “Sup?” is harmless. Those that have made an issue of it (if any) need to reevaluate.

Hydrate.
“Still Fly”. All time classic.
Let’s fucking go.
Fuck me running. That thing is terrifying.
