It was the ending that everyone no one saw coming: Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi have broken up.
It seems like it was a million years ago, but it’s only been a mere five months since Nick got down on one knee and asked the Canadian special education teacher to marry him. Since then, we’ve been subjected to sappy social media posts from both parties, such as:
But alas, all was not well in their international relationship. Rumors swirled almost from the beginning that it was not a match made in heaven, and on Friday, the pair finally called it quits, issuing an exclusive statement to E! News:
It’s with a great amount of heartbreak for the both us as we have decided to end our engagement. We gave this relationship our all and we are saddened that we did not get the fairytale ending we hoped for. We will continue to be there for each other no matter what. This hasn’t been an easy decision, however, as we part ways, we do so with lots of love and admiration for each other.
Should we start a betting pool on how long it is before we get the same announcement from Rachel and Bryan? .

If I ever see Nick appear on a Bachelor franchise show ever again I’m blowing my brains out
Just sent an email to the producers (who happen to be personal friends of mine) requesting another appearance of Nick
My chapstick lasted longer than this relationship
I have to applaud the producers. You have a format that has overwhelmingly been proven to fail and you still have thousands of applicants every season? I’m sorry, but that’s just genius.
You have a format where you get to have 30 beautiful women/men vying for your attention and the chance to f*ck at least 3 of them. There, fixed it for you.
fock? fick? feck? help me out here
Fack
Definitely fzck.
Fuck you pussies
At this point, 80% of the applicants are probably just hoping for a shot at Paradise and Fit Tea sponsorships
Ugghh if only this happened a month ago. It would be fun to watch Nick in Paradise groveling to get Raven back.
We can look forward to see him next year in BIP. And it will be “the most dramatic season ever”
Alright, how many of these bachelor couples have actually stayed together.
I’d rather see a show we’re they put on like 20 hot couples that are about to get a divorce and just see the sparks fly. Whoever can stay together long enough wins.
In the BIP montage of successful marriages of the show to date, there’s was a 12 season gap between the first and second marriage
The lamest couple on social media.
That would be you and whatever hand you use to masturbate
I honestly forgot they even existed.
Peter is somewhere in Wisconsin thanking the good lord he didn’t let Rachel pressure him into marriage.
It’s bad when you’re the Bachelor couple with the least chance to make it that I’ve ever seen.
The only question is whether they were actually ever together after the show.
Round of applause for Chris Hansen. He has made tons of money traveling the world and talking for a few minutes per episode.
