Overheard in the office: “So does that mean like you have a foot fetish?” PGP.
I should just record all the crap I hear from students and post it on the Reddit page for posterity purposes.
How many words do you think we’d have to urban dictionary to understand what they’re saying?
I don’t know, but it would probably make us all fleek af and they would think we were lit or something. Am I right?
Kind of surprising, they don’t really use that many “new words.” High schoolers don’t think that’s cool (or maybe it’s just my high schoolers); it’s more of the random shit they come up with that’s surprising.
Teaching for a few years made me realize how absolute dumb I was at 17.
And that’s terrifying to think about because I’m still an idiot.
“Overheard at the Office” should be its own tab, like columns, news, videos, etc.
I was walking back to my desk and heard “Yeah, I really prefer to receive, but I usually have fun either way.”
“They couldn’t get the tattoo to line up after her C-section.” I just kept on walking.
