Yesterday was the first full Sunday of America’s pastime. For years, our nation has gathered together on the sabbath to cheer for their respective teams, cheering on their favorite players in an effort to come out victorious. Of course, I’m not talking about NFL football. I’m talking about the obsession of fantasy football.
There are two groups of people in the world – people who play fantasy football, and those who don’t. Those who don’t need to get out of their ivory towers and enjoy it with the rest of us. Well, unless your league is run through ESPN’s website which means you couldn’t edit or view your team for the majority of yesterday. The general consensus when the app crashed along with the hopes and dreams of everyone watching Week 1’s day games?
But in an effort to save face, ESPN’s resident fantasy expert Matthew Berry went on air today to apologize for their shortcomings. And things got weirdly emotional.
I mean, come on, Matthew. It’s just a game. Alright, alright, sorry. It’s not just a game. But still. If you were disappointed in yesterday’s action, you’re just being a wet blanket. Or you’re a Cowboys fan who’s still wondering why he didn’t just get out of bounds. .
Yet another example of the Cowboys simply imploding. They are their own worst enemy.
Meanwhile, every Giants fan celebrating a 1 point win over an offense lead by two rookies:

Definitely a good point. The fact that the game came down to one point is embarrassing for the Giants.
Why did you delete the other football article, Chill?? DONT LET WOMEN SENSOR YOU
He’s no more emotionally than I was after losing both of my games.
