Well, I’ve got good news and better news when it comes to the comings-and-goings on Netflix during the last month of summer. The good news is that there’s not a lot of awesome content leaving next month (save for Teen Witch and The Pursuit of Happyness) so there’s not a ton you need to skip the beach and rush to watch before it’s too late. But if you so choose, the better news is that there is a lot of cool stuff coming, so if you decide to forgo the sun and sand for air conditioning and the couch, you’ll have plenty to keep you occupied, like the 17th season of SVU (coming on my birthday, natch!) and St. Vincent, one of my fav movies of 2014.

Binge at your own will..
[via CNET]
How much have you ever lost on a coin toss?
Why the hell would anyone want to watch An Inconvenient Truth a decade after it came out?
Just makes it doubly inconvenient
Larry The Cable Guy can go fuck himself and his sisters and brothers.
Well I just had to explain to my boss what was so funny, so… thanks for that one.
Nived this is a pretty big month for you what with Family Man, The Road, and No Country for Old Men all available for your viewing pleasure.
And if you really want to go down the deep, dark Cormac McCarthy path, get yourself a copy of Blood Meridian.
Tommy Lee Jones is a timeless individual
St. Vincent is one of my favorite movies, due in large part to BFM absolutely KILLING a dramatic role while also peppering in some humor. He’s in a league of his own, and I’m pissed that my parents didn’t introduce me to his movies when I was younger. (I cried during the original Ghostbusters cuz I’m a bitch, and they held off on any of his other movies until I was well into my teens.)
Hey, Best, let’s get me lined up for season 5 of Real Husbands of Hollywood
if you have not watched Inside Man, I strongly suggest it.
St. Vincent is a definite must see feel good film despite having Melissa McCarthy who I feel is sub par comedy. Plus, Bill Murray still in his prime.
If you don’t cry at the school speech scene, you have no soul.
Stranger Things is crunk if you like a little sci-fi. It scared the shit out of me.
Can’t stop what’s coming.
Whoever down voted clearly missed the very appropriate No Country For Old Men reference.
