Hey, brother. We can all admit that “Arrested Development” Season 4 wasn’t quite what we were expecting. Its decision to focus on single characters rather than the whole fucked up family ensemble was a bit of a new direction for the critically acclaimed, ratings-challenged sitcom. Rather than knowing for sure if we’d be saying Annyong to a fifth season, we were all prepared to make like Kitty and say goodbye to these.

To be honest, seeing this show go away forever when there’s a ready and willing platform, Netflix, aching for more “AD” would be light treason, and luckily, we won’t have to say goodbye forever. Producer Brian Grazer says that more “Arrested Development” episodes are on the way. 17, to be precise. He sat down with Bill Simmons on the “B.S. Report Podcast” to share the good news.

“I love Arrested Development, but it was never a huge thing,” Grazer explained. “But people are loyal to it. We’re going to do another 17 episodes, so stay tuned for Arrested Development.”

So grab a frozen banana and some juice and get ready to get this party started. No word on when the episodes will hit the streaming service or, hell, even start filming, so stay tuned for more news. And that’s why you always leave your fans wanting more.
