It hasn’t been a good month for lions or the people who kill them. By now, you’ve probably heard of Cecil, the 13-year-old protected lion, who was killed for sport in Zimbabwe. And you’ve probably heard that, though the initial report claimed an unidentified Spaniard did it, it was actually a dentist from Minnesota named Walter Palmer. With this knowledge, the Internet did some Internet things and unleashed hell on his Yelp! Page.
Yeah, that’s it. Poor parenting.
Can I give a review a review? Because, if so, 5 stars!
But you still gave him a 5 star review? Do less.
Robert has a point, there, Doc.
This one about sums it up.
I mean, that’s fair. Anyone can tell you that Mufasa dying is the saddest part of The Lion King. That’s a pretty decent gauge for anyone trying to kill a lion to see how society is going to take the news. This just goes to show that the Internet is the more unforgiving, marginally less attractive version of Liam Neeson. It will look for you. It will find you. And it will give you a bad life review and blame your parents. .

Brian loved lions. #lioning

FUCK this guy. He has a warrant out for his arrest in Wisconsin for pulling the same shit.
What I mean by that is he lure a black bar out of its protected park.
In this case he used a car with bait attached to it to lure him out and away from the protection of the park.
I believe you should be able to hunt but not lions seeing that their numbers are down 92% over the last 30 years.
Go hunt deer you limp dick fuck. I hope he has incurable ED for the rest of his life.
Hunting threatened game (lions, elephants, etc) is actually legal in much of Africa. Governments sell a handful of permits for a shitload of money and use that money to protect the rest of the population from poaching and spur the economy. The economy bit is important since a lot of poaching is done by poor residents trying to make enough money to survive, and other job options allow them to make money legally. It seems counterintuitive, but it’s worked very well in some areas, particularly with elephants in Zimbabwe.
That being said, it’s a complex issue and no one should condone poaching of any sort.
The whole issue limited permits to protect the remainder of the species theory has been debunked about as thoroughly and aggressively as the flat earth theory.
Care to back that up with some facts?
The other problem with killing “one” male lion is you are killing all of its cubs. The next male lion that takes control of the pride will kill all of the dead lions cubs.
Unlike, if he was hunting a male leopard or male Tiger (yes I know aren’t in Africa).
I generally think big game hunting is a ridiculous sport, but I actually feel kinda bad for this guy. Lions are probably hunted a lot more than most realize, and he just happened to shoot the most notable lion in all of Africa. This guys life is effectively over for the time being until the media finds some other ridiculous story to cover.
He forgot to follow the Golden Rule: Don’t be a dick. I don’t feel bad for him one bit. He’s hunted illegally before and anyone that can kill something like that should get a broomstick shoved up their ass.

The main thing that is shitty about this is that he was poaching. This makes this completely different than what the Texas Tech girl did. The Texas Tech girl was hunting legally. The government and wildlife department of African countries sanction hunting big game, because they like to set the population of big game animals at certain levels so that the ecosystem is not out of whack. The Texas Tech girl was actually contributing to a better environment, and paid a shitload of money to do it. This crazy asshole is the scum of the earth. Poaching is one of the shittiest things you can do, because not only is it theft, but its impossible to refund the theft when caught, because the animal is dead. It is like stealing a car and then dropping it off a cliff.
You’re a moron. The other lions that are being hunted are also being poached…illegally. He committed a crime and got caught. Trying to justify that with “well other people probably are doing this too” is idiotic. He’s a piece of shit, fucked up and got caught.
To be fair though, he can extract wisdom teeth like a mother fucker
Nah this guy is a supremo cock bag, he was convicted of a felony in Wisconsin for hunting game animals, plus you do this kind of hunting, you know the moral and ethical dilemmas of hunting protected animals.
To be fair, he had a permit, just killed it outside of the zone the permit was issued for (and lied about it). Also, to be fair, there are now a lot of bears in Wisconsin, which is why the DNR issues quite a few permits these days.
It’s just part of the circle of life
Oh lnsayers, I love you.
