casual Friday night here in philly, then hitting the road tomorrow to head home for a little family BBQ & Mother’s Day. Cheers to the most important lady in my life
Exactly. I’d rather keep the cold hard cash than get tied up in rewards anyway. Unless you’re trying to hit the monster intro bonuses on a new card, can’t see this being worth it
Out of curiosity (always used direct deposit, myself), are you paying an additional transaction fee since you pay with card? direct deposit is free whereas card payments carry processing fees… does that cancel out, if not outweigh, the rewards benefits?
Be careful with opening tons of cards/lowering your credit limits – your score could take a hit based on lowering average account ages, increased credit inquiries, and using higher % of available credit. Spending $1,250 out of a $1,500 limit dings you
Devils fan here… what he is/does = put up north of 1.3 points per game over a stellar career, compete for Art Ross/Rocket Richard trophies annually, and win championships. How can that be overrated
A wise man once told me, “stairways lead to good things”. 2nd floor balconies, rooftops, you name it… Always more fun drinking in sunlight and on elevated surfaces
It’s got Jake Johnson (Nick Miller, from New Girl), Anna Kendrick, Peter from Office Space… awesome little Indie flick that makes me want to quick the cube life and work at a brewery
Scorching hot take. I feel like the cooking setup in a nice food truck might be better/cleaner than the Taco Bell’s of the world that you feel comfortable visiting
This read like the responsible/employed person’s version of when Girl says something like “mama needs a mimo”
I deleted Timehop out of pure embarrassment. I feel like I was such a tool on social media for so long
Enjoy the cheap drinks at the old watering hole, and see you on Will’s Sunday recap blog about everyone who is brutally hungover from alma mater trips

Great Lakes Brewing Company’s Burning River Pale Ale is pretty solid and a nice tribute to Cleveland’s legendary feat of igniting the Cuyahoga

There are so many BYOB spots in philly (brunch, Italian, sushi, back alleys and stoops in the hood)
Yes, yes… but has anyone ever told you the story of Darth Plagueis the wise? Oh, and IH fellow Star Wars nerd
Feels like 90% of the places here in Philly are BYOB, I honestly feel bad for people who don’t have that

If I’m not mistaken that’s Olivia Wilde in the movie Drinking Buddies, but I like this take nonetheless

Agreed. Seems to be a budding rivalry though with Jimbo coming at Devin
Tell the waiter no, and order something else for your boss. PGPM
We do that with uber splits between our college buddies all over the country… 1 out of every 20 might work, but it’s worth the laugh when it hits
