I was at Chillifest my junior year and my friend and I were handed temporary tattoos. We decided to put them on, but the only way we could put them on was with the beer we had in our hands. So we proceeded to do that, but we forgot to remove the plastic covering off the tattoo, so I poured beer all over my friend’s leg for no reason at all. We were mostly bummed that we wasted the tattoo.
I mean, my dog has come back to me with dead, stiffened, squirrel jerky that she found on the side of the road. Raw meat was the least of her concerns.
South Padre Island has some pretty good waves. You will most likely want a big, long board, but they’re easy and consistent. It’s a lot of fun. The rip-tide is a bitch if you go on the beach without the jetties. It’s a couple of bucks to pay to get on the beach with a jetty, but worth it if you don’t want to have to walk 2 miles back up the beach.
