I got sole custody of my dog after a breakup. I would never give her up in a million years but it is hard work being a 20-some single parent who likes to go out. I take her to a dog sitter 3 times a week and it has helped so much with my guilt and her socialization. And I make sure I walk her every single day with hikes on the weekends. My suggestion would be to wait until you are married to get a dog, it’s hard work on your own.
Moved to El Paso from CA 3 years back. Don’t have that Texas pride because I feel like I’m actually living in Texas, more like New Mexico. But these El Pasoans are really trying to fit in with the rest of the state. They just want a little love
