Well I have been apart of many weddings. Now, in like 17 days I have my own wedding. I didn’t know shit either. Specifically when it comes to cost, my god! My soon-to-be wife and I have the unfortunate honor of paying for about 80% of this by ourself. Venues alone costing 5k, get out of town. When it comes to what you need to do, just remember the groom isn’t in charge. He is doing what he is told because she has thought about this day her whole life whereas he thought about it, probably after they were already engaged.
I texted my now fiance, wife in a month, about an hour after our first date. With a standard “I had a great time, I’d love to see you again” text, she responded, I ended the conversation saying I was going to bed. Then mid morning the next day, told her I hope she has a great day or something. You want something, you go get it.
It seems currently America has two steering wheels, the left and right. With both of them fighting over where this car is going without any thought about the passengers. I feel like people have forgotten that just because your neighbor or coworker may not like smishsmortions or guns or maybe they love them, that does not make them terrible people that you should yell, fight and berate them. There will never be two Americas, only one and the quicker that everyone who is in this car realizes that the better it will be.
100% agree. Sure he may not cheat on you. However, what happens when he goes to a wedding without you? He did it once. It will be on your mind that whole weekend, not something I would want to entertain.
