I submitted two pieces recently that aren’t worthy of being published and I don’t know which is worse – not getting published and having your shame be a secret, or getting published only to be told how shitty your work is.
For non-handwashers, think about it like this: Would you just go sucking on your fingers? Hell no. That’s gross. So how is not washing your hands before eating any different, especially something as messy as a reuben?
People who use hand sanitizer are just weird, though. Shit doesn’t work at all.
If you like Sturgill Simpson and Panic you’ll love this. Keys, horns (the black trumpet player is awesome), and a lot of soul / blues. They’re playing a show in Austin next week before heading to Jazz Fest, you should check it out.
Succulents are great. Wife did a Pinterest-inspired succulent DIY last weekend and they really added a nice touch to the office. This weekend: New potted plants for the front stoop.
