My best friend’s finance often pays/offers to pay for me when the three of us go out, and I do appreciate it, but I ALWAYS try to pay for myself. Example: during the engagement party, I let him pay to avoid a bunch of cards everywhere, but then I settled up with him later. It’s definitely the move to offer, though – I really appreciate it.
Yeah. Now we’re cruising on with the “not sure where things stand” stuff, so I’m just gonna go back to New Orleans for a bit and finish school while he sorts himself out.
My boyfriend of two years blindsided me with the “I don’t know if I’m in love with you anymore” talk last night at 9 p.m., so yeah, fuck the past 24 hours.
I think it’s less about the number of dates and more about the quality of the connection between the people. If they connected like she says they did, at the bare minimum a phone call is warranted.
It’s also a crime in some states to withhold that information and can cause big legal problems if your partner contracts it from you and they didn’t know you had it. So yeah. Just be open.
As a woman, I can honestly say I wouldn’t turn down a guy solely because of it. If you’re an absolute sociopath and have herpes, then yeah, that’s gonna be a no from me, but the rules are pretty simple: use protection, and don’t do the deed if you have an outbreak.
Getting that kind of mean when drunk is definitely signs of some more deeply rooted issue and cause for concern. Even if he can go a couple months without drinking, it doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a problem when he does. If you’re worried, there’s no shame in talking to the ‘rents, they may have noticed it too.
I totally agree. But for me, it’s never just a flat. It always ends up being a flat + XYZ also needing to be repaired, despite regular maintenance. It stresses me out.
One of my biggest adult fears is car trouble. For whatever reason, I cannot handle it. If I get a flat tire, I am in a puddle on the floor sobbing to Triple-A.
The air conditioning is out in my office. It’s already 85 outside with 75% humidity and climbing. I wore long sleeves because usually it’s freezing in here. I think I’m going to have a heat stroke. Happy Monday.
Ohhh, my big Catholic family would END me if I did an elopement, even with close family/friends.
The market is already correcting, we’re like 10% away from a recession.

Jiro Dreams of Sushi is amazing. 10/10 recommend.
Willammete Stone from If I Stay. Great, great music.
Shout out to Tulane Med from Loyola Law! Think of the toilet thing as a welcoming present – mine were 6 inch flying roaches in my apartment.
The most depressing part of this article is that I’m older than Nick.

Crunchy or creamy?
I just really like food, does that make me a foodie?
