I also work at a tobacco-free university. The policy is “self-enforcing,” however, which simply results in people smoking normally while being judged by non-smokers.
Couldn’t agree with this more. I hear a lot of comments from my married friends that I need to “settle down” or that they are too old to do this or that. It comes off to me like I’m supposed to not live my life, sit in a rocking chair, and get ready for death.
But that’s exactly the point. A friend of mine just saw his mom die after a 5 year battle with colon cancer. She didn’t do anything right or wrong to cause or not to cause it. Are good and bad things just a matter of coincidence or some kind of indication of a divine plan?
As a Clevelander, I can tell you you are a complete idiot. Lebron is straight trash. They are going to lose to a trash team in Toronto. The only functioning organization in Cleveland right now is the Indians. You are delusional.
Though I agree it looks silly, I’m conflicted given that it does show support for your team.
For pro sports, at least the player is getting royalties BUT given that these guys usually don’t stay for more than a couple years I don’t believe in buying a particular dude’s jersey (for example, I bet those Johnny Manziel and Nick Swisher fans are getting great wear out of those jerseys right now).
For college, I am much more likely to support the school because its purpose is much more than simply making money. However, given that the kids don’t see a dime for selling their jersey (like no one would be buying #2 jerseys at Ohio St. if not for Terrelle Pryor), I can’t purchase a college jersey.
Therefore, I end up not buying any jerseys and instead find other means of showing support.
I disagree. Even in your late 20s people still assume you are an undergrad when you go out to the college bars. College isn’t the real world even if you get paid like it is.

Great philosophical question. Something we all should think about seriously.
This is almost exclusively North side trash. Stay in the loop. It’s where deals are made.
“I’m amazing at drinking”……..
Hummus, Fried Chicken, Mac and Cheese, and Spinach.
I don’t know what it says about me, but this has become an all too real description of an ex.
Are you delusional? There is clearly more talent leaving than being added. Major League? Varsity Blues? There is no equivalent replacement.

Didn’t realize this was junior high school
I’m in.

At no point in this story did you make a bad decision.
Even I got anxiety by the Minze shots.
One of the worst movies I have ever seen
‘Love Actually’ is straight trash.
