Honest to Poseidon question here guys and gals, how much of a deal breaker is being a bad texter? I’m usually unavailable between 8-6 Friday- Monday on account of work and as possibly the last surviving member of #flipperphonenation below retirement age I can be pretty slow with responding on my off days as well.
For all its macabre-ness, Fight Club still makes an excellent point about the absurd standards for folks of all types set by advertising. I believe the influence of advertising and social media also bleed into the stereotypes that CMV is writing about.
To the girl with the pregnancy issue, I hate to bring up such a hot button issue here but absolutely consider options where you have the kid. Even if you’re pro choice you don’t know what kind of extraordinary positives that kid could bring to other people even if the circumstances of his conception weren’t that great.
I’m never giving up my flipper phone. It still has battery life for literal days, I can use it for emergencies and talking to people I want/need to talk to and I can also go underwater for 24 hours and no one even questions it. Downsides include people assuming you’re a seaweed dealer or living a double life but sometimes it pays to keep people on their fins
