Jethro and Bubba tend to not cause a problem only because they live where there are more cows than people. I own firearms and took a concealed carry class for shits and giggles though I don’t carry. Some of the folks in the class (who passed all easily because it’s a complete joke) made me more nervous than the threat of being mugged or carjacked ever could.
Meh. Why the fuck should a scripting error make it possible to delete ALL the backups they had unless you’re a real rink-a-dink IT organization? Separation of concerns/least privilege principle should not allow that.
Exactly. That software company I work at doesn’t do everything perfectly, but regular, ideally multiple per day backups are a fucking standard of any business these days. Plus, if you’re going to use Linux in your company, make sure whoever is responsible for scripting out stuff isn’t a complete idiot who uses a bulk delete command without safeguards.
The dude in the Targaryen breastplate stabbing a guy? That’s likely a flashback scene; the Targ breastplate guy is wearing a Kingsguard helm and is ostensibly a kingsguard of Aerys (and the scene may well be the last Kingsguard protecting the Tower of Joy where Lyanna is said to have died).
The Young Griff is most likely a Blackfyre of some sort and thus a dead end, and will probably not appear in the show.
New Amsterdam and Monopolowa gin are both great, under 20 bucks a fifth, and really are on par with Tanq and Bombay. If you’re doing something where you’re not mixing with a lot of other stuff, like a dry martini, Hendrick’s is the way to go (or something else in that price range that has more emphasis on funky botanicals).
Never been to D.C., but from Google Maps it looks like the numbered streets run North/South, so a place “north of 32nd street” doesn’t make sense. And she doesn’t live in Dallas. Where does this monster live, Will!?
I assumed given a lot of the going-ons in the series that she lived in NYC, her attitude made me assume she wouldn’t settle for a borough that wasn’t Manhattan, and just north of 34th street would put her in Midtown.
She could probably live in D.C. or some other metropolis where going without a car is feasible (Todd told her she didn’t need a car) but her self-importance just exudes NYC to me.
$2,200 for a non rent-controlled 2 bedroom in Midtown Manhattan? I’m calling bullshit. I just locked down a nice place for that in Uptown Denver for that rate and even if we had gotten an older place it would have easily been $1900 for a two bedroom in our area (again, it’s a nice area in Denver, not NYC). I’m guessing 2 bedroom in Midtown has to be minimum $3500 and its going to be on the shittier side.
They have siestas because their shit economy doesn’t allow keeping the office at 60 degrees at all times and it’s hot as fuck and miserable. Don’t hate on the work nap.
Hmm. . . I guess I’ll have a Hopfucker, please.

Internet don’t forget.
In Case You’re Wondering What He’s Talking About
Mine quit a couple years ago. I respect his decision, but it was one of our few common hobbies.
Having enough one dollar bills to make your wallet fat but not enough to open a checking account for a debit card. PGP.

. . . and none of the tasty quinine. I love G&Ts: guaranteed to keep you malaria and scurvy free, and drunk to boot.

I dig it. If you want to church it up a bit throw some Angosturra or orange bitters in there as well.

My inattentive server at brunch last week:
Somehow I doubt that.
Is this the guy?
