From someone who has tried out every dating app out there, here are some observations: Bumble, Coffee Meets Bagel, and Hinge (RIP) seem to have more quality, relationship minded girls. Tinder and Ok Cupid are more of the hookup apps, where girls will outright approach you for sex and one night stands. I’ve seen a few exceptions on all of the apps but this is pretty true for the majority.

Girl #3 sorry to be cliche but hes just not that into you. If a guy is seriously interested in a girl, I dont care if hes Donald Trump running a multi billion dollar enterprise and POTUS, he will find a way to meet up with you. I will move mountains, cancel plans etc to meet up with a girl I really like. But with the girls Im only semi interested in I will make excuses not to hangout like the guy did. Sorry, I just wanted to give you the brutal honesty. This happens to guys as well, girls flake all the time, just a part of the game. Forget the guy and find someone who will treat you as their option a.
Girl #4 you may or may not be attractive in the looks department, you dont have much control over that unfortunately. But you do have control of how your body looks, how you dress and present yourself. Hit the gym and focus on getting a bikini body thats attractive to guys. Dress well and always look presentable. This will do wonders for your confidence and make you more attractive to the opposite sex.
I’ve thought about doing this at yoga classes as a way to pick up women. But I always chicken out because I have zero flexibility, also I’d feel really awkward being there. Props to this guy for giving zero fcks.
Im in HR for a big corporation, and #4 is always my go to advice for people who are new to their careers or starting a new job. One of the most common complaints I hear about employees is that they take forever to respond (or dont respond) or never follow up. You could literally suck at your job but if you show up to work on time everyday, and respond to emails promptly you will be ahead of the curve.
The crazy thing is that theres not an app or setting for the iphone that truly prevents you from texting/calling someone you dont want to. I tried out one of the apps that claimed to do this and it sucked.
Eventually it wont matter because you will have somehow memorized her number after deleting and adding it so many times.
I made a serious vow to never text my ex again, after she hadn’t responded to my texts in over a day. Deleted her number and everything. 2 minutes later she texts me.
I dont think its an issue if the woman makes more than her boyfriend if lets say the man is making 100k and the woman 110k. Both make good money and can provide for each other and able to pay for things. If the guy is making 50k and the woman 100k, that will likely be an issue and I dont think I would feel comfortable in that situation as the dynamic changes a lot.
Ive pretty much been on a drunken bender since Thursday. Sent a bunch of regrettable texts to the ex I was trying to get back with, now she wont return my texts/calls. Met a few different girls over the weekend, made out with 2 of them. I havent had a decent nights sleep in about a week. Trying to power through it this monday!
Charlie as someone who goes out of town for work a lot, it almost never works out when you match/talk with a girl before your trip and try to reconnect when you get back home. Its like there’s this universal rule that if you don’t meet up with a bumble or tinder date within 3-4 days of matching, then you’ll never see them.

Also, I forgot to add that if you don’t continue contact with this girl while on your trip, she will likely lose interest and move on to someone else. Shes probably talking to a few other guys that want to meet up with her. People have short memories these days, especially those on dating apps.
Option 3 but add her on snapchat as well. That way you can snap her cool pics from Phoenix and it helps build comfort. She will think you are well traveled and important, and the first meetup wont be so awkward and first dateish.

I am 31, make 200k a year and have a decent size net worth. However, I am still as immature as I was when I was 21. I still go out more than I should, get completely hammered, and make dumb decisions. Maybe thats why Im still single.
I guess the moral of the story is that its ok to be a complete mess in one area of your life (blackout drunk, single af, immature, cant cook anything/eat out everyday) as long as another area of your life is stable (career, finances). This stops people from judging me and/or feeling sorry for me. But what do I know!?

Now, if I feel a girl I’m semi into likes me way more than her, I will let her know asap that Im not looking for anything serious. They either accept that and continue seeing me, or drop me altogether. Its a lot easier than saying I like you, but dont like you enough to put you in a long term relationship.
