I have zero respect for cars with the WATCH OUT FOR MOTORCYCLES bumper sticker considering every time I’m on the interstate some douche in a mohawk helmet riding a kawasawki is weaving between lanes. I want to open my door whenever stuck in bumper to bumper traffic.
Nice. I know what the traffic is like down there, so at this point I’d rather pay a bit more to have less of a commute, but I’m still trying to mentally prepare myself for a 10 mile drive to take around a hour. Seems like a good area for young people though so I guess that is a plus.
Where in the DC Metro area did you find decent suburban prices? Just got a job offer in Nova and all the burbs around there and in Maryland are still outrageous
You can always follow up the courthouse wedding with a fire hall reception. Some tables of food, some kegs, your close friends and family, and more kegs. Simple, boozy, and cheap.
I know DMB and whiskey don’t seem to go together, but his version of Seeger’s “Rye Whiskey” is depressing, but great. Maybe throw in some Robert Johnson too, but great playlist nonetheless.
Hey, the Backyard Brawl is coming back……in 7 years.

I only have one.
Having to Google what Ghosting is. PGP. But this is another piece of pure gold.
“It’s going to affect you for about fifteen minutes and make you reassess everything you’ve ever known in life.” This is so sad, but so true.
Don’t know if this kid was actually from Connecticut, but having had a room mate from there, this isn’t surprising.
Slept in til 6 on a Saturday, felt like the day was halfway over.
Best place on earth. Hope you enjoy Tanker Tuesdays at Town Hill too. Miss those places, it’s been too long!
Sounds like a cold Fishbowl and some cowboy ranch wings
