My dog is 5 and we had to do a dental cleaning and benign tumor removal this year and the Banfield plan was the way to go. It depends on a lot of factors so just research what’s right for you!
Agreed. Giant breeds (Bernese, Great Danes, Newfoundlands, etc.) are actually fantastic apartment dogs too as long as you exercise them appropriately in the morning and evening. My Bernese Mountain Dog absolutely hates being put out in yards and would prefer to sleep inside all day when I’m gone and then he’s ready to walk/play as soon as I get home.
On the flipside of the HH stuff your dog is also a great excuse to avoid HHs or anything else you don’t want to go to. I’ve even used Baloo as an excuse to leave bad dates early. “I have to get home, my dog hasn’t been out since before I left for work this morning. Sorry!” (Obviously a lie, I always take him for a walk right after work)
Successfully completed my first weekend of “No Drink November” and still managed to have a lot of fun being the only sober one out at the bars. Woke up Sunday feeling refreshed and with a full wallet.
My old job was jeans casual and I refused to dress down. Yeah I occasionally got mocked by my coworkers for always being “so dressy” but I’m convinced that if you dress well you feel more confident and perform better at work. Joke’s on them.
I’m not allowed to bring my dog to work but a lot of my friends are so they will borrow him for the day. They’re happy, he’s happy, and I’m miserable and alone.
I disagree on the not “just friends” anymore thing. I’ve hooked up with a couple of my guy friends before who I have no interest in whatsoever. Some people are capable of that, others aren’t. You have to evaluate on a case by case basis.
Option 4: Get all your friends to dress up and go to brunch where you can completely take over the place because everyone is waiting til that night to go out in their costumes. Then by the time you hit the bars or house parties that night you have a nice warm alcohol blanket so you don’t really care about standing in lines or walking farther than you normally would.
That being said my mom’s ring was purchased for a few hundred dollars at an estate sale and it’s simple and elegant and I would love to have it someday.

THIS. I just got my dog on the Banfield plan this year and it has already saved me nearly $500.

And by that you mean every dollar she spends on you now is another dollar you can put toward her ring… right?
This will be my third year in a row doing Friendsgiving in DC instead of going home for Thanksgiving. It’s 1000x better this way.

And Party Cove at Lake of the Ozarks
Oh. My. God. This is by far the best one of these to date.

Feet touching is ideal?!?! What kind of monster are you?
I have a friend who works for a law firm in SLC that allows dogs! That’s the only one I’ve heard of though.
Wait to let the dog in the bed til you’re both waking up and then the dog can come between you for good morning pets and snuggles.

Easiest way to determine what’s cheating/inappropriate behavior: would you be upset if your SO did the same thing with someone else?
This is the dream.

I usually ignore the first text when they submarine, but if they have the guts to text me again I’m usually intrigued enough to respond.
