Being afraid of needles as an adult is not acceptable.
Yeah sure, vaccines hurt, and lidocaine burns, and nobody likes having an IV (unless hard drugs are your jam, in which case you really do), but I swear to god if I have to listen to another 20 year old girl freak out and start sobbing about the needle used to numb her dumb party wound before she gets sutures, I will have the nurses wrap her tightly in blankets and pin her to the stretcher, like we do with toddlers.
They do put trackers on babies, it’s so nobody kidnaps them. Sounds ridiculous but you’d be surprised how insane some horrible ex-boyfriends can get. Also the maternity ward is only 1 floor up from the psych ward
