I saw this story somewhere else and knew, deep in my soul, that when I opened PGP that there would be an article written by Will deFries tearing this guy to shreds. This may not have been the direction I was expecting but I wasn’t let down in the slightest.
When Speirs runs through that town full of Germans to connect with the group on the other side of town and then RUNS BACK! I rewind that scene probably a dozen times every time I watch this show. Band of Brothers is incredible. Also, as a 24 year old female, I love how surprised guys are when I tell them its my favorite mini series.
Personally, I don’t buy makeup and expensive clothes to impress guys. I buy makeup because I love wearing makeup and looking nice and I buy clothes because I fucking love clothes. I couldn’t care less if a guy didn’t like my outfit when hes standing there in a Hawaiian shirt and khakis from high school that he cant fit into anymore.
