My parents payed for the rehearsal dinner and the photographer. Her’s payed for everything else. Personally, I don’t think it’s outdated for parents to pay for the wedding because tradition is important and a wedding is a major event in which parents are formally letting go of their children so they can go out and make their own families. But then again I am an upper class cis gendered white male so my opinion is invalid and inherently misogynistic.
I’m talking a public course that costs around 65-85 to play prime time. They usually offer a fee of 2.5-3k upfront for unlimited golf and no greens fees. While not out of the realm of possibility, I haven’t seen riff raf out on this type of course.
Considered pulling the trigger on the under 35 membership I was offered. I am all about the country club lifestyle. But, financially it makes no sense from a golfing perspective (which is what I really care about). If you want to get the most bang for your buck the move is to buy a yearly membership at an upscale public course. Usually around $2500 and they don’t soak with $20 cart fees for every time you play. Then again I play at least 2-3x per week (not sure how my wife lets me get away with this).
This is all a direct result of the new fad of having the wedding ceremony and reception at some rinky dink barn or historic cottage. Churches and country clubs don’t do this shit. From a guy getting married in two weeks.
Try wearing your warfighting uniform (70% polyester!) with anywhere from 50-85 pounds of extra gear in a fucking jungle where it takes at least an hour to move 1 km.
Shotgun and M4 unknown distance range with the platoon. Gonna bust so many caps. Will be followed by a wonderful night of getting rained on out in the field. Can’t wait.
As a Marine Officer serving overseas please don’t send us candy. The Marines have too much of it and it makes them fat and then I have to do a shit ton of paperwork.
Was able to go to Iwo Jima. It was incredible.
I moved out of the country right after getting engaged. Came back a week before the wedding. Highly recommend it.

I enjoy rowing 500 meters as fast as possible then doing 20 50lb kettlebell swings followed by 20 wall balls. AMRAP in 25 mins. It’s a good time.
Moving back to the states after 2 1//2 years overseas. Going to be interesting.
The correct term is fast roping.
They waive the fee for Active duty. It’s sweet.

Rowing plus a sandbag=a good time

I get excited AF for my credit statement just to see how how much cash back I earned in the month
I think this might be the end of TDAG. Conditions are set for a complete blow up. Or a wedding with Girl and Todd.
Brittany? I too have a Brittany named Rosie and she is awesome
We have an American Brittany, easily the most fun loving, affectionate and athletic dog I have ever had.
