DC- I don’t think I tried that specific beer at Bluejacket, but I had at least two flights of different beers at the brewery and liked them all.
Louisiana- Meh. I prefer something from Abita or Covington, but I think it’s a regional thing.
Mississippi- There are better beers and better breweries. Lazy Magnolia is just the most well-known.
South Carolina- They got this one right, hands down.
I live an hour out of New Orleans, so I’ve been going to Mardi Gras parades my entire life. I’d like to add that you will get PLENTY of beads over the weekend. Don’t pick them up off the ground and don’t fight over them (unless they’re a badass pair of beads- fight for those suckers). I’ve seen way too many grown adults get angry and argumentative over basic beads.
