Clear malt beverages are a whole new world of weird in the brewing world. They need extra storage and chemicals to be able to handle. You’d also lose a lot of storage space and that’s money you’re losing.
Wrapping up my first brew that’s going to be thrown on tap then heading out with a few co-workers tonight. Working Sunday to roll into a 4 day weekend next week that will probably involve an overnight hike on the Appalachian trail.
We have a full on micro team but half of our production line has degrees. The work sucks, the money isn’t great, but you get a beer every day so that’s cool.
When I was a contractor trying to start in industry it was casually mentioned in a meeting that they might not have the money to keep us and it was week to week from there out. Take some time to be proactive and get some.
$7 a beer (you went top tier at the brewery) x 6 = $42
Now let’s say you split a few apps at said place, more than $12 a piece and you’re going to the wrong spots so that’s $24. Now you’ve used all your money and only leave a $3 tip.

Just bottled our Oktoberfest marzen so gonna crush a few of those while fixing up the kitchen. Should be super low-key
