I’m sorry but that’s an extremely privileged comment. Depending on the industry you work in, immigration status, employment status, age, gender identity, etc then yes your life might be very different. If you are a white cis straight male of legal immigration status then I’m sure you feel no difference, but that’s not the experience of many Americans.
No. Her lifestyle might not allow her to carry a pregnancy to full term. Or she might not want to, which is also valid. Asking her to put her body through an unwanted pregnancy because it miiiight result in a cool baby is bogus. There’s just as much chance that this current cluster of cells could become the next Donald Trump.
If you can’t or don’t want to be pregnant you don’t have to be, it’s your constitutional right to be able to make that choice and it’s a shame she had to beat around the bush. Abortion is not a dirty word ya’ll!
Also she was so drunk she didn’t remember fucking this dude so that’s a whole other set of problems and all the more reason she should feel free to terminate this pregnancy.
I live in California and I pay nothing (literally) for awesome coverage. On the job hunt now and have serious reservations about coverage plans that cost several hundred dollars.
I did Portland, Oregon alone recently. It was perfect. Amazing food and breweries. Beautiful hiking. Tons of super cute and affordable airbnbs. Portland is my favorite city in the US and is great to visit alone, in groups or with your partner.
this list isn’t terrible, there are a few good alternatives. However I’d love if it everyone could agree to not invite random white folks on the internet (many of whom likely own Red Hats) to go ” explore Oakland”. I know this gripe is tired but the Mission truly was cool until a bunch of rich white dudes took it over and made it the Marina part two, with a few taquerias because white people like them. Oakland does not need tourism, it needs the community to stay intact
It’s not just girls though, all people are more likely to bond more intensely over shared negative experiences than shared positive experiences. Women may be more severe in the spectacular cultivation of “mob mentality” but in general this is definitely a very human phenomenon.
The marina is truly the worst part of sf. The scenery is nice but the combination of tech bros, screechy white girls and strollers make it a hard no for most people in sf.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles and have been living in SF for almost 8 years and I don’t even understand how Texas got into this conversation? Like, who do you know here, Texas. California is unfairly drenched in goodness, natural beauty, diverse cultures, , robust job industries that allow for growth, solid social programs etc.
It’s not just about buying local, Starbucks also just tastes pretty bad. If you are someone that really enjoys coffee and not just caffeine you are probably willing to pay more for quality beans and/or a place that knows how to make a good cappuccino. If you order anything other than a cup of coffee from Starbucks they sweeten the hell out of it to cover up the fact that their beans suck.
But Trump is literally the poster boy for intolerance? And being against gay marriage is a perfect example of intolerance. So it sounds like people are just enforcing a culture of tolerance in resisting Trump and and policies that dehumanizes LGBTQ folks
Seattle is one of the most educated and progressive cities in America. Very rarely hear anyone using a region’s political redness as a major selling point. Inviting someone to visit a red city/state usually requires some sort of disclaimer and explanation of why it’s safe to visit even if you’re not white.

Pretty sure that’s the current state of our country.
It is in places that value progress and human rights. Sucks to suck I guess ¯_(ツ)_/¯

People didn’t like your comment and it’s suddenly a vagina issue? I’m confused. What about the logics assumption that you’re just not funny?

Little Italy? You mean North Beach? I’ve literally never heard it called Little Italy.
I don’t see anybody asking any of the dudes what their number is when they right pathetic hook up stories
You mad?

Must be from Texas if trepidation is considered an “SAT word”

Why would anyone leave California for Texas?
Pure
