I’m in the back of an Uber after one too many drinks at happy hour, which seems to be the perfect place to read this and cry. Found you guys right before I graduated college and was terrified of what the real world had waiting for me. Y’all have done so much for all your readers, and most importantly made me realize that no one really knows what they’re doing out here, we just all know a little bit more than yesterday. So thank you all so much, it’s been amazing, and I can’t wait to follow y’alls content wherever it goes
Indoor bouldering gyms are a blast too, but tend to be cheaper since you don’t need a harness or a belayer. Also, max heights top out at like 25-30 feet and you can drop from pretty much anywhere onto massively padded floors. Highly recommend
Tried doing the responsible thing, I really did. Went to a house party my best friend’s family throws every year, lots of great food, free booze, and around the corner from my parents house. Midway through get a text from a girl I’d been trying to close the deal with that she was actually in my city and saw my insta story. $200 in Uber’s later, I’m sneaking her out of my parents house at 6am and frantically packing my bag to make my flight home.
Didn’t make it. Still haven’t looked at my bank account.
As someone who’s currently wrangling with AA to get his golf clubs back because they didn’t get put on my flight yesterday, give me the delay every single time……..and pray for me
Headed to Houston with some college friends for Travis Scott’s Astroworld Fest, looking forward to seeing what else the city has to offer. Just booked multiple tee times for next week with the boy’s back home, so very little work will get done in the next few days in the office
I got this done about 6 months ago, well worth it. Advice from my experience:
1) Set a price range you want to spend on the whole thing, then subtract about 100-200 to get your price range for the unit itself. The rest will go to the backup camera + wiring and other parts.
2) I bought my unit from bestbuy online because it came with a free installation, so that saved me $70.
3) Once you’ve got the unit itself, try going to a Best Buy in person and talking with Geek Squad about what parts you’ll need. YMMV but the geek squad I went to gave me a print out with all the part numbers which made it way easier for me to order them on Amazon/EBay instead of paying Best Buy’s overpriced accessory prices.
So far car play has been incredibly worth it, I think my total came out to ~400 for everything. Went with a Sony XAV-AX100

Update: clubs are back home safe. Thank you all for your thoughts during this trying time
