Yeah growing up in North Dakota, I always assumed that’s what everyone’s winter was. Then I left home a few Christmases ago and landed in DC during the “Polar Vortex” and the Mid-Atlantic up through the Northeast was still a good 20 degrees warmer than North Dakota was sans Polar Vortex. I love NoDak, moved back first chance I got, but there’s no denying the weather
Honestly, as someone who works in the outdoors for a living and used to consistently go 4 days a week without plumbing, the chance to sit on a throne is one i’ll take 7 days a week, twice on Sunday. No clue why more guys aren’t willing to try it
I refuse to get into bed without first taking a shower. No way i’m taking all the grime and pollutants i’ve picked up just by existing into my sanctuary. Second excellent take in 24 hours
I like the occasional bowl as much as the next guy, but part of the charm is that it costs like $5, tops, not $15-20/hr per PERSON like some of the DC places make it
Sorry bud, i’m pretty sure the closest Steak n Shake to North Dakota isn’t even for a few states. Did Ranker get its data from the 4 of us who’ve actually been out of state? and amongst them the 1 who happened upon a Steak n Shake? Culver’s, all day, every day
I hate losing to the Russians as much as the next guy, but our Men’s hockey team is a bunch of amateurs playing professionals, no shame. They’re lucky we had to leave TJ Sochi behind for some college kids and retirees
Question for the ladies: Does context matter for fish pics? I’m a fisheries tech, my life is spent working with fish, and I’m not a picture guy, so the very few pictures I get taken are with cool fish we’re saving. Are fish pics acceptable where your life is literally dedicated to fish/you’re actually saving the fish rather than displaying a trophy?
The prairie: no where to hide. People (if there were people in North Dakota) can see you from miles away
At least Sperry didn’t get neglected for once…

Ya learn something knew everyday…I blame growing up in what is essentially Scandinavia in America, thanks for filling me in!
Get ready for A LOT of pickled fish bud…
We don’t even have a Steak n Shake in North Dakota…

Our women did that themselves earlier in the tournament, as well! Good luck in the final!

Lutefisk on a first date to find out how much of a psycho they are
or the countless stories of “brutal winters” that we call summer Tuesdays in North Dakota
I feel like your use of dozens was ironic, as in “oh there’s no people in the Dakotas”, but I think that’s still shooting too high
Had no clue there was anyone other than myself reading PGP up in the Dakotas!
