Agreed, out of all the insane NYT announcements we see, they go crazy over the one where the woman is a teacher? They honestly seem like a rich couple who are fun to party with on boats.
When I initially entered that phase, I did the swiping/casually hookups/date thing for a while. That’s the fun part. Then the second wave is the- I have more fun with my friends, family, alone time than on mediocre dates. Then you become content with being with yourself, and open to the right relationship, while not needing one to make you happy. I look at it in stages, and can honestly say I’ve never been happier than being solo and living it up, versus wasting my time in a draining relationship.
I’m not the one who submitted the question, but I’m actually in the same exact position right now- considering moving out to Denver from the east coast. Glad to see there’s other people with the same thought. My amateur advice, is to do a lot of things that scare you- like moving to a place where you have to push yourself outside your limits. It teaches you a lot- and if you hate it, you’re young and can always move back.
This was essentially my dad with soccer. I was 5 and my dad came home with a vhs on the rules of soccer & a bag of gear, and told my mom he had signed up to be the coach. Ended up getting super into the game and drove me to travel games for the next 12 years. Definitely look back on that fondly.
Even though I roll my eyes at the mention of brady, i can’t deny that he’s a fantastic qb. I think most of that is due to his obsession with winning, which i wish other qb’s had.
I feel like joe’s chances of getting a second ring went right out the window the second he signed that massively expensive contract. Now he just has to sit back until retirement, as much as I hate to admit it.
As annoying as it is- they might feel the need to do that, because women who say they like sports do tend to get challenged on their knowledge of it from time to time. So they probably do it to prevent that from even happening. But I will agree- it’s obnoxious when men/women brag about old stats when you really just want to have a good time and watch the game.
I’ll admit the main reason I love football so much is I’ve been watching sec with my dad since I was about 5. But trying to learn it when you’re an adult is still possible- just treat it like a new hobby. Watch as many games as you can with people who are patient enough to explain the basics as you go along. I think once you actually learn the process from play calling to the final touchdown- you’ll be able to appreciate the game more (and it will be loads more fun to watch).
Down to my last hour in the office before I drive down to NC. Productivity is at an all time low.
Appreciate the feedback, guys. Abdullah it is. I’m still nervous on trusting murray, though there may be some upside down the road with Cook out.
Question for the group: I’m having an unlucky bye week, and am desperate for RB’s. Is it worth taking marshawn lynch out for latavius murray/abdullah?
I was a taco last year, high probability I go as that again this year.

If I didn’t have the ability to sometimes telework I would lose my mind. Teleworking days = mental health days.
I was in Miami all last weekend, and this coming weekend I’ll be at a Nascar tailgate. Send prayers.

Add in the bean boots and you’ve got the most comfortable outfit all year.

Henley, dark jeans, nice shoes, aviators. KISS system works every time.
This made me happy.

Let me have this one thing- before joe derails the team per usual around mid-season.

See: Ravens Bengals season opener. I might be biased, but that was one of the best showings of a strong defense in a while.
I don’t really need help ensuring I’m single for cuffing season, I do a bang up job at that already
