I’ve been seeing someone for a little while now, and am happy we’re in the “no label no worries” phase. I enjoy his company, and he makes me laugh. I don’t know if I agree with a hard and fast 3 month deadline- but I agree with a take your time, no need to rush philosophy. I like letting things unfold organically and not putting pressure on having some huge sit down conversation to dtr.
Completely agree. It’s the mentality that no one else is responsible for your happiness but you. And if you seek a relationship in the hopes that it will fulfill you, that’s a lot of pressure to put on the other person.
As a life long resident of the DMV area, and currently working in DC, I can unfortunately agree with this article. It’s interesting how most people who have lived here their whole lives don’t realize how often we integrate politics into conversation until we travel somewhere else and it’s considered off limits. Generally speaking, I’m not concerned with political affiliation, I’m more considered if they’re simply educated on current issues and can have a respectful conversation about them. Otherwise I judge dates based off more important qualities, like whether or not they like oysters.
My mother offers the opposite advice: “you’re so young, don’t try to settle down now there’s too many people to date”. I think she’s remembering her time in the 70s fondly..
My issue with five guys is too many topping makes the bun soggy. That being said, their fry game is strong. You always get more than you need, which is how you should be eating fries.

Strive to be a Kelsey
Why choose when you can have both

Sunday date at an art gallery and shooting range so the weekend ends with a bang.
It’s the respectful conversation part that’s hard to find.
I was a co-maid of honor last year. It is 100% always an awkward situation. Please make Girl do this for the tent.

If it’s good enough for Oberyn and Ellaria…
Came here to say this as well. Most DC offices I know, top out at 10 floors. Assuming maybe Rosslyn at best?
Pretty sure mine and my friends’ conversations about weddings go “Was there an open bar?” “Yep, and they got taco bell at the end” “Sweet”
No wheat means defeat!
Yea… I think the only part of this I understood was the cinnamon in the coffee. America runs on dunkin.

I will eat any wing you put in front of me because I’m an animal.
Teach me your ways

This was so satisfying.
Crispix with ice cold milk was my ultimate after school snack growing up, no shame.
Was out at a bar in dc last night and met a guy who “works on inaugurations”. The dc status thing is so obnoxious sometimes.
