After not even two weeks of marriage, the wife and I are loading up the U-Haul and heading out to the West Texas Oil Patch this weekend. Really good way to test the waters to see if this marriage is gonna “make it.” Y’alls T’s And P’s are much appreciated.
Mine is in a month and my fiancé minored in event planning. The most I’ve done is put stamps on the invites and made sure the groomsmen have their shit together. It’s been awesome.
I’m glad someone else thinks like this. Started doing this beginning of last year and I surprised myself on how much I actually accomplished. Being in sales and constantly having to hit a sales goal makes this easier to translate to my personal life as well. Sorry if all that sounded kinda douchey.
Honest question for you folks up North from someone from rural West Texas. What makes y’all actually pay that kinda money to go to a hotel for a NYE party to just stand around and then deal with the surge pricing? Shit gives me anxiety just thinking about it.
Dropout guy, I live in the LBK so reach out if you need anything. Also one of my good friends older brother did the PE Program at TTU and got through it and is doing well now. Grind it out and it’ll pay off.
Waking up to rain on Saturday mornings especially during late fall is my all time favorite. Great take Duda.
Absolutely genius idea. Shamelessly stealing that good sir.
Hold up, there’s companies that only give you 30 for lunch? I’m on my third company since college and each one gave me an hour.
Will do bud. I was born and raised in Odessa and left in 08 so a decade later here I am heading back to that black hole.
Hey Dave be safe on the ride home after donating blood homie. Last time I did a double red donation I got lightheaded driving so it kinda spooked me.

PGP twitter just dropped a tweet about this article. Y’all go retweet and @Venmo
You’re right. I got engaged after 3 months and couldn’t imagine being with anyone else.
Imma have to hop in on this too. The old lady likes mayo and hates mustard and I’m the opposite. Works out perfectly.

Where do y’all find these companies/jobs that allow you to work remote or from home? I’ve yet to see any on the job boards that I follow.
I was about to comment that I’d kill to have some of the old school polo’s from the 90’s.

Ripped through a package of twizzlers on my 6 hour drive home yesterday.
