Damn, this is sad. I genuinely enjoyed reading the posts and all the commenters’ snark and wit on this site. Thanks to all the writers and best of luck to all of you in the future.
Damn this cut me off but I thought it got deleted by the system – Our schnauzer made it to 14 and she passed over Labor Day weekend a few years ago while my mom knew I was on a cabin trip, so she delayed telling me until the weekend was over.
My dog is 7 and she is on the little side so I hope she’ll have several more years, but I’m noticing more gray hairs and more hesitation on her part to jump on the bed or go down the hallway if it’s dark. I can’t even fathom what I’ll do when her time comes. Love on Toby as much as you can while you’re home.
High School reunion – definitely go, and bring your husband. I enjoyed my ten-year reunion a lot and I was definitely not popular and probably more of a wallflower than anything in high school.
I live close to their Atlanta location and it’s a beautiful building but it creeps me the hell out. I get little mailers from them advertising the stress test and their TV channel. And the lights are always on inside, no matter what day/time, and there are always a ton of cars in the parking lot. And I’ve seen their van labeled “Psychology: Industry of Death” back there. It’s creepy af.
As an Aries, I absolutely love crossing things off my to-do list, and my list is about to get insanely packed, so I absolutely will write things I’ve already done and cross them off to make myself feel better.
I am here for this. I love Triple G and watching other people cook and get stressed about making an arbitrary meal in 30 minutes. They also show it a ton on Sunday afternoons/evenings. It is pretty effective against the Sunday Scaries.
The proximity to parents question can also tie in to the kids question. Having at least one set of parents close by is a lifesaver for a lot of people who can’t drop big bucks on daycare or a nanny 5 days a week.
If we didn’t know that Terry Flanagan worked in Manhattan instead of whatever nondescript area this article is in, I’d say Terry the Boss’s lawn isn’t the only thing getting murdered this summer #RIP
Ugh I went through the interviewing process 3 years ago and that really irked me when I would take the time to go to their office, meet with the four people who would interview me, and then literally never hear anything back. Even the recruiter I used didn’t hear back sometimes. Like, you know your candidate had to make the time in the middle of the workday to be there and you can’t give them the courtesy “sorry, we went in another direction” response?

Girl and Caroline will no longer be speaking after Girl + Todd’s wedding day, assuming they make it down the aisle.

I don’ t have a stocking for my dog but she gets three new toys a month thanks to Barkbox, so I think it evens out.
My first couple of years working in public, I got the tax questions all the time. Now they know not to ask.

Tom and Claire probably incorporated Girl’s scarf into their sexy times, so maybe she really doesn’t want it back after all.
Also Snyder’s Jalapeno Pretzel Bites. I cannot buy them for myself anymore because I will eat the entire bag within a day or two.

Living in a state where you can’t buy liquor at Costco. PGP.
Next time I end up in LA for something, I hope to extend my trip by a day or two and repeat. I think doing all four in one day would kill me.
I’m actually about to try that one. My friend said she had a bad experience with it but I decided to see if it will work for me.
I went to give you a “Nice Work” and realized you have 69 already so I decided to just give you an approving comment instead.
