Why do girls always get hammered and then claim to not be drunk? Girlfriend does this constantly and then gets upset when I make a joke about it. Always a lose lose for me.
Group I’m going with at the end of this month is pushing for everyone to do Hawaiian shirts. All the shirts will be differently but not completely sure how I feel about it.
Not a chance. FootJoy has the worst fit I have ever seen. Wearing a large in most brands is similar to a FJ large. On the other hand my father and grandpa swear by them. That should tell you all you need to know right there
Couldn’t agree more. While Polo has some really nice peformance models most of them are just cut for old men. Way to baggy and the tail is abou 3 inches too long.
They’re not cheap but Lululemon makes the best polos. Hands down. Vinyard Vines has some nice performance golf models too.
I have just seen to many world class athletes who can’t even swing a golf club. Shaq, Barkley, Antetekumpo or however you spell his name, etc.
A while back the NFL took players and created offseason made for tv competitions where they played other sports. Almost all of them were good at bowling. Golf was fun to watch because most of them were absolutely terrible, except the QBs.
I know a lot of MLB pitchers are good golfers but that’s due to playing all the time.
Hockey players make poor golfers. Almost as bad as baseball players. The swing planes are way too different. Anyone with decent knowledge of the golf swing can easily pick out hockey and baseball players after 3 swings with the driver.
Recently helped some friends move from River North to a new building in South Loop. Moving is never fun. Moving in a big city where you end up paying $50+ to park your car for half the day is even less fun.
I think Richard Jefferson was on the right track when he said something like “Lebron gets overlooked because he is so great every year. We look for someone to have a spectacular and Lebron has done that. The problem is he has done that the past 5-6 years and gets overlooked because of it.”
Westbrook for MVP this year but Lebron is and has been the most dominating player in the league ever season for the last 4-6 years. Coming from a Pacer fan too so no bias here.
What’s worse, spending all of your money trying to find a girlfriend or spending all of your money because of your girlfriend on things that you normally wouldn’t spend any money on?
I’ve been going to Fresh Thyme a lot recently. The selection of fruits and veggies is always good, almost overwhelming considering I always end up with the same 2 or 3 in my basket.
Still trying to figure out where everything though. They have some awesome meals ready to go type thing. The cooking instructions on the packaging saves me from googling it a few times a week!
